Supermarket Attendant

Full-time · Ochacho Estate, Idu and Corner View Plaza, Life Camp, Abuja

We are seeking a courteous, hardworking, and customer-oriented Supermarket Attendant to join the Ijaycee Supermarket team. The successful candidate will provide excellent customer service, keep products properly displayed, maintain a clean shopping environment, and support the day-to-day operations of the store.

You will work on the shop floor at Ochacho Estate, Idu and Corner View Plaza, Life Camp, helping customers find what they need and keeping every aisle presentation-ready.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and help them locate products quickly.
  • Restock shelves, arrange displays, and rotate stock so goods stay fresh and easy to find.
  • Keep aisles, tills, and the shop floor clean and safe throughout the shift.
  • Support checkout and bagging during busy periods.
  • Report low stock, damaged goods, and customer issues to the supervisor.
  • Follow company policies on hygiene, safety, and customer care.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Courteous, reliable, and comfortable on your feet for a full shift.
  • High level of honesty and integrity.
  • Willingness to learn store procedures and work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure during peak shopping hours.
